Seaguar
In 1966, a Japanese chemical engineer, Mr. Ishii, and a patent department employee and angler, Mr. Yoshida, recognized that fluorocarbon attributes were perfect for fishing lines. Though perfecting the process of extruding fluorocarbon proved tricky, the process was perfected, and by 1972, the Seaguar Fluorocarbon fishing line was introduced in Japan. Since then, Seaguar has continued to perfect and innovate and has become a leading name in the fishing line.
